Donald Trump Knows More About Jesus Christ Than Anyone, Even the Pope
This week we all had the joy of witnessing Trump sticking his finger in the eye of the Prince of Peace.

President Donald J. Trump can’t stand Pope Leo calling for peace and love and saying that God doesn’t hear the prayers of warmongers. This has put the president and his fellow travelers into an Armageddon-level meltdown. They don’t know whether to condemn Trump for blasphemy or defend him as their own personal savior. Secretary Pete Hegseth keeps making things worse by trying to turn the Department of Defense into the Department of War blessed by God. His quoting of the Prophet Tarantino was another public example of stupidity.
Religious zealots and anti-Muslim bigots support this war and the new murderous approach to foreign policy. About 6 in 10 Americans disapprove of Trump and Hegseth’s handling of the war in Iran according to a March survey. Seven in 10 Americans don’t buy that Trump has a drop of religiosity in his veins.
Scott MacFarlane has some background on this story.
Aaron Rupar clipped a Morning Joe segment about Hegseth reciting a fake Bible quote from Pulp Fiction.
