NASA’s Kepler space telescope found 4,175 planets, but a newly discovered exoplanet (orbiting a sun in another solar system) might be the best “Goldilocks” planet ever found. “Goldilocks” refers to the incredibly rare confluence of factors—such as temperate zones and the presence of water—needed to sustain life. Earth is orbiting the Sun in a Goldilocks scenario. Now it has a relative named Kepler 452b. Earth’s “older brother” is currently circling a sun-like star in an orbit that takes 385 days– about 400 light years from Earth in the constellation Cygnus
