Americans Continue to Say US Wealth Distribution Is Unfair
Something is wrong with America’s economic system… and Americans know it. According to a new Gallup poll, 63% of Americans see the distribution of wealth in the US as “unfair.” Although that’s up from 59% in 2009, it’s lower than when it peaked at 68%, just after the Crash of 2008. Perhaps the most interesting fact is that aside from the dip in 2009 and another after 9/11, a steady 60% of Americans have held this view—that wealth is unfairly distributed—all the way back to 1985!
Two-Thirds Of US Millionaires Fear “They Will Lose It All” If The Market Crashes
Some incredibly wealthy people commissioned a navel-gazing look at the trials and tribulations of the wealthy and found that millionaires are living in fear. Mostly, they feel a lotta’ “pressure” at home to maintain their lavish lifestyle. It really is a heavy cross to bear… particularly when you have to carry it all the way Montauk or Martha’s Vineyard. These poor millionaires are simply too scared to get off the profitable treadmill built for them by their buddies at The Fed. And that’s why they keep on making so much money. There really isn’t anything else they can do.
State Department Says No Evidence Donations Influenced Hillary Clinton
It is safe to say that a clean bill of health from the State Department is likely to do little to assuage the critics of the Clinton Cash Machine. It doesn’t help that Bill keeps on talking—about his $500K speeches, about the failures of his accountant and about how little money he’s actually made along the way. Also, Hillary’s campaign is using the “Clinton Cash” book to raise more cash to fight the allegations made in the book about the cash they’ve been collecting.

The Shooting at the Texas Muhammad Exhibit Has Little to Do With Free Speech
Although the winner of Pamela Geller’s anti-Muslim hoedown in Texas says he’s protected by an all-encompassing right to free speech, Pacific Standard points out that “free speech” is, in fact, circumscribed in certain cases and “fighting words” deemed as an incitement are not protected. You cannot shout “fire” in a crowded theater. ISIS seized on the loud incitement by claiming responsibility after the fact. It will, no doubt, make for good propaganda as they incite their followers to attack infidels.
What Do We Know about the Torture Photos Obama Refuses to Release?
Speaking of incitement and controversial images… the ACLU continues to press for the release of thousands of photos depicting the torture and abuse of Iraqis and other foreign nationals at over a dozen different locations around the world. The White House has until May 19th to comply with a court order to release them… or file an appeal.

AIDS Drug May Work Against Bat Disease
While many have been focused on the plight of beautiful bees, the embattled bat has been dealing with its own steep decline. Some 6 million bats have died from a fungal disease called White Nose Syndrome. But the bats—which play a crucial, multi-billion dollar role in agriculture—may have some help on the way. Scientists have found that HIV drugs, called protease inhibitors, appear to knock out much of the fungus.
