Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Cuckooville) may not be smart or sane, but she is a savant when it comes to packing as many crazy things as possible in as few words as necessary.

We recently used an entire editorial to dissect just one 90-second soundbite of Greene saying stupid stuff.

On Saturday morning, she was at it again, this time on Twitter, where she prepped supporters of Donald Trump for a possible loss in November.

And by “prep,” we don’t mean in the sense of, “We’ll do our best, but if our guy loses, then we’ll accept the result of that election and regroup with another candidate who is not a convicted felon.”

That would be a sensible thing for a Republican to say… although a bit premature since the race seems to be wide open at this point.

But not Marge.

Instead, she is already laying the groundwork for the Big Lie 2.0 — with the difference being that this time around, Fox News will inexplicably be on President Joe Biden’s side, and not that of Trump, for whom the propaganda network has been shilling for years.

“Fox is using polling to prime you to believe that Joe Biden legitimately wins 2024 after they steal it again in Nov.,” she tweeted.

That’s a whole lot of insane things in just one sentence.

What triggered Greene is a Fox News poll (which she amplified with her tweet) showing that Trump is now trailing Biden by a couple points, i.e., completely within the margin of error.

To understand just how dumb it is to complain about a single poll in June, it is important to know that the election is not held tomorrow but rather in November. Therefore, no poll matters right now.

Taking into account the uncertainty across the globe, the age of both candidates, and Trump’s mental state and incarceration status, anything can happen in the next four months that will change the entire dynamics of the race.

In fact, considering all of the above, there will not just be an “October surprise” this year but probably also a July, August, September, and November surprise as well.

In any case, going back to that first sentence, no Republican has been able to produce even a shred of evidence that the 2020 election was stolen.

And it defies belief that Fox News is somehow in on this imaginary conspiracy. From “Fox and Friends” in the morning and the daytime “news” programs that have refused to air news that makes Trump look bad, to the evening shows, which might as well be paid campaign commercials, the network has worked tirelessly to help the former president secure another term this fall.

Next, Greene voices her conviction that Biden could not possibly be in the lead at this stage of the race.

Mind you, the American people have already weighed in on this particular matchup, and Biden won by 7,059,526 votes.

Finally, Greene notes that even Democrats don’t want the incumbent to run again.

That’s certainly true. However, there is a reason why Nikki Haley (R), South Carolina’s former governor who dropped out of the primary months ago, keeps pulling in double-digit support when Republicans head to the polls.

In addition, many prominent GOP lawmakers also don’t want Trump to run and openly say so, including the party’s 2012 presidential ticket — Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) and former House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) — as well as his own running mate Mike Pence.

Now, all of this would be good fun if Greene were just another lunatic standing in Time Square and distributing copies of her “newsletter” to tourists.

But, unfortunately and bafflingly, she is an important voice in the MAGA movement, and this tweet is further proof that Trump’s supporters will not accept a loss under any circumstances.

Last time, these “patriots,” which is what Greene calls them, stormed the Capitol. If Trump loses yet again, there is no telling what they will do.
