Trump Shares Racist Video, Conspiracy Theories in Late-Night Posting Spree

It’s only natural for people to seek out their personal happy places if things aren’t going their way — for example, if they started an unpopular war that caused gas prices to spike. For some, that might mean knitting or curling up on the couch to watch their favorite show; for others, it might mean going for a run or spending time with loved ones.

For Donald Trump, it means posting wild conspiracy theories and racist videos on Truth Social, the one place on the Internet where he is universally beloved.

With all of the country’s problems apparently fixed, the president had ample time on Monday night to turn to the things that are on his mind — his 2020 election loss, vengeance against his enemies, and African-Americans committing low-level crimes and behaving inappropriately.

As a result, just before midnight, the president spent a couple of hours sharing social media posts from well-known thinkers, political commentators, and investigative journalists such as “Fan Trump Army,” “Lexie,” “Papageorgio,” “Julie Donuts,” and, of course, “Catturd.”

What we learned, apart from being able to draw important conclusions regarding Trump’s mental state, is that various people he holds grudges against ought to prosecuted, including “Barack HUSSEIN Obama,” who, according to “NanLee Marie Carissimi,” was “the most DEMONIC FORCE in American politics in decades.”

Others who should be held to account for treason and other crimes, according to the president, are Sen. Adam Schiff (D-CA), former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, former CIA Director John Brennan, and former special counsel Jack Smith.

In between shared posts detailing their supposed misdeeds, Trump also let his followers know that the 2020 election was stolen.

For example, “RealRobert” knows that “Dominion forensic images confirm beyond a shadow of a doubt that an anonymous user logged onto the Election Management System remotely in Antrim County, Michigan, on November 5, 2020, and tampered with the database of the 2020 election.”

If you are acquainted with Trump’s late-night “truthing” sessions, you’ll know that this is pretty familiar fare for his faithful.

However, on Monday night, the president added a new wrinkle.

While Trump, who has a long and well-documented history of racism that begins in the 1970s with his refusal to rent apartments to Black tenants, usually tries to keep his white supremacist views out of his posts, at least apart from calling every Black lawmaker he doesn’t like “low-IQ,” he apparently couldn’t help himself last night.

Sprinkled among his other posts were three portraying African-Americans in an unflattering light.

The first purports to show young Black men grabbing items off the shelves of a Wawa convenience store and leaving without paying.

The second, posted by “Kitten” with the commentary “Always scheming,” shows an African-American woman canceling a food order right when she picks it up to avoid being charged for it.

And the third simply shows a Black man knocking over a tray of food that a waiter in a restaurant was carrying.

Since we can’t think of any other reason why the president of the United States would share these particular videos late at night, we must assume that it’s because he is an unabashed racist. If there is a better explanation, we’d love to hear it.
