In the News: The US Supreme Court is going to hear oral arguments today in the design patent case, Apple v. Samsung. The case involved a dispute about design patents for black, rectangular-shaped phones with a grid of 16 colorful icons on the face. Apple wants all the profits Samsung made from the infringing products. The Electronic Frontier Foundation has named this patent the Stupid Design Patent of the Month.
