Trump’s 2D Fair Buildings and Empty State Booths Are a Metaphor for His Failure
Donald Trump could have allowed the America 250 committee to do something grand, but he decided to steal the money for his fake fair under the banner of Freedom 250.

President Donald Trump is a cardboard tiger. He doesn’t care what he actually accomplishes as long as he can push propaganda to make him appear to be accomplishing great things. Look at the Great American State Fair: It is a shell of a fair, a really pathetic effort to do the least amount of work possible to produce an event that has the trappings of a state fair, but really is a sad mess.
Thousands of people across America were prepared to work hard to put on a cross between Seattle’s Folk Life Festival, a World’s Fair, and a rodeo. That plan left too much money on the table. Trump and his cronies couldn’t resist grabbing the cash.
Fox News spent the week pretending the event was well attended and really exciting. But the empty vistas behind the news anchors told another story. The Fox team knows it’s their job to puff up all of Trump’s projects. It is hard to believe that their viewers are still buying it.
As long as Trump looks good on TV, that is all that matters to him and his MAGA press.
