One of President Donald J. Trump’s main goals, in his second term, besides burying the Epstein files, is to use the power of the federal government to gin up any “evidence” that he can use to convince the public that he was treated unfairly by the Obama and the Biden administrations.
He won every contest, set every record above the rest, and is truly the Greatest President of All Time! Meanwhile, deranged, radical-left, lunatic “Demoncrats” were spying on him. They conspired with New York District Attorney Alvin Bragg to get a jury to convict him of 34 felony counts of fraud.
According to Trump, Fulton County, GA, District Attorney Fani Willis broke the law when she attempted to try Trump and his associates in a RICO case for conspiring to get Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to change the 2020 vote count in his favor. Was she a tool of George Soros and former President Barack Obama?
Another target for the president is “Deranged Jack Smith,” who attempted to try Trump for his part in the January 6 insurrection and for stealing classified documents.
More than anything, Trump wants to convince everyone that the 2020 election was stolen from him. That is the holy grail. Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche has stepped up to be the president’s Cotton Mather, a veritable examiner of truth. He’s ready to find any thread of support he can use to spin yarns on Fox News. He will charge people on flimflam evidence and will probably be laughed out of court (unless he can find sufficiently MAGA judges to hear the cases). That won’t matter because the lies will have become the truth for millions of Republicans and all of the people targeted will pay, at minimum, in time, treasure, and anxiety caused by going through the process of defending themselves.
If he signs off on a few more offerings like this week’s “addendum” to the IRS suit “settlement,” gifting Trump, his family, and affiliates eternal immunity from auditing and all civil liability, Blanche may earn Trump’s nod for the attorney general spot, but he’ll also earn his place in the annals of sycophancy as one of the most corrupt AGs in US history.
